Happy Survival invites fat lïp

With worko

For our first official show on Oroko Radio, a day before our takeover @Moko Tottenham - we present a mix from our good friend fat lïp. Gliding across Gqom, Baile, House and more with ease - fat lïp sets the tone for what is set to be a busy summer for us with a mix that evidences just how formidable they are behind the decks. Special sounds contained within.

With Guest: fat lïp is a multidisciplinary Dj and saxophonist from London of Jamaican and Grenadian descent. They aim to celebrate the sounds of the Black Global Diaspora via blending different musical genres of Caribbean and African origin to celebrate the music of the black diaspora, homeland and beyond to honour and acknowledge the whole community.

The ultimate aim is to bring about a discussion on the state of the black diasporic identity centered in how music connects us all. They are also the founder of VEXED an online archive to document diasporic stories and art.
